Domain Name Registration
What is This?
You must obtain and register a domain name before you can have a website. Domain name registration must be renewed annually. Rafaill & Associates offers domain name registration through its partner company Artisson, LLC.
We Can Do This for You
When we register a domain name for you, we do so on your behalf as a service to you. You will be the owner of the domain name. If we are not only designing a website for you but also providing the hosting services for the site, we will list ourselves as the technical contact.
You may, instead, elect to use any of a number of other registration services and do this on you own. If you do so and we are providing hosting services for you, you must provide us with the technical information so that we may point your domain name to your site on our servers.
I Already Own a Domain Name
If you already own a domain name at the time you contract with us for a new website or for a new design for an existing website, you may continue to be responsible for the annual registration as long as you provide us with the technical information so that we may point your domain name to your site on our servers.
Alternatively you may elect to have us assume the responsibility of the registration on your behalf.
